Feathered Faves
Story Of The Day
On a warm July morning, little Emma peeked out her kitchen window and saw a tiny, iridescent hummingbird fluttering around her mother’s newly planted fuchsia. Mesmerized, Emma rushed outside, careful not to make a sound. She watched as the bird hovered gracefully, dipping its beak into each flower.
Suddenly, the hummingbird flew over and paused in front of Emma’s face, as if to thank her for the feast. With a heart full of joy, Emma decided that she would ask her mom to plant more hummingbird-friendly flowers. That summer, their garden became a haven for hummingbirds, much to the delight of the whole family.
