Bugs Be Gone- Deterring Pests From Your Feeders
Hummingbirds aren’t the only ones who love a sweet treat — pests like ants and bees can gravitate to your sugary feeders, too! We’re sharing our top expert tips for keeping your feeders pest-free, all inside today’s issue of Your Daily Bird.

Tip Of The Day
Try using an ant moat to keep pests like ants and bees away from your hummingbird feeders. This is a small cup-like device that you fill with water and hang above the feeder. Ants can't swim, so they won't be able to reach the nectar. For bees, consider using feeders with bee guards and avoid using any yellow-colored feeders, as bees are particularly attracted to that color.
