Stories Of The Day:

Story Of The Day

Once upon a time, in a quiet suburban backyard, a curious ruby-throated hummingbird named Flick discovered a new feeder filled with sweet nectar. Flick, with his shimmering green feathers and rapid wings, soon became a daily visitor.

One morning, a young aspiring artist named Lily, who lived in the house, noticed Flick's visits. Inspired by the tiny bird's dazzling hues and tireless spirit, Lily decided to paint a picture of him. Day after day, she set up her easel on the porch, studio-style, and with each brushstroke, captured Flick's lively essence on canvas.

When the painting was finished, she hung it in her room, naming it "Flick's Dance." It was a reminder of how a small encounter with nature could brighten one’s spirit, just like the flashes of color Flick brought to her garden.
