Stories Of The Day:

Tip Of The Day

When positioning your hummingbird feeder, aim to place it near sheltering plants or trees to offer the tiny birds some protection from predators and harsh weather.

However, ensure that the feeder is in a clear, unobstructed area where you can enjoy the view and the birds can quickly escape if they need to. Keeping the feeder about 4-6 feet off the ground mimics the height of natural flower blooms and is typically a safe height to deter some ground predators and pests.

Quote Of The Day

The air is crowded with birds — beautiful, tender, intelligent birds — to whom life is a song.
