Tip Of The Day

Utilize the "S.P.L.A.S.H." method to enhance your bird habitat and attract a wider variety of species to your yard: Shelter: Provide natural cover with trees, shrubs, and brush piles to offer birds protection from predators.

Plants: Grow native plants that produce seeds, berries, and nectar to supply natural food sources.

Landscaping: Design your garden with bird-friendly areas, including open spaces for ground feeders and dense foliage for nesting.

Add Water: Install a bird bath or a small pond with a drip fountain or waterfall to attract birds with the sound and sight of moving water.

Supplementary Feeding: Set up bird feeders with a variety of food choices like sunflower seeds, nyjer seeds, suet, and nectar.

Habitat Variety: Aim for a diverse habitat by allowing some parts of your yard to go a bit wild, offering different environments for different bird species.
